Corporate Social Responsibility

The Group believes in being a responsible corporate citizen and is active in contributing to the communities in which it operates.

2018

  • Contributed to Yayasan Budi Penyayang, a foundation incorporated for charitable purposes which aims to provide care, compassion, comfort and consolation to the less fortunate and disadvantaged Malaysians.
  • Palu Relief Fund, a humanitarian relief fund administered by Mercy Malaysia to assist the earthquake and tsunami victims in Palu, Indonesia.
  • ElShaddai Centre which provides regular mobile clinics to various refugee communities under its program called H4R (Healthcare for Refugees).
  • Karunya Community Clinic which was set up by Asia Evangelistic Fellowship to provide medical treatment to the migrant workers.
  • University Malaya to support their Baktisiswa, a medical volunteering program in Kota Marudu, Sabah and to sponsor their Best Student Award for Pharmacy
  • Melaka Manipal Medical College to support their International Conference on Interprofessional Education, Practice & Care.
  • International Medical University (IMU) Charity Run Carnival or Chariofare to raise funds for charity.
  • UCSI University to sponsor a genomics workshop entitled “Translation of Genomic Data into Precision Healthcare” and to sponsor their Book Prize for Year 1 & Graduating Year 4 students.
  • Contributed to other organisations including Hospis Melaka, Diabetes Malaysia, Malaysian Association for the Blind, Melaka Cancer Society, Yayasan Jantung Malaysia, Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the mentally handicapped and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia.

2017

  • Contributed medicines to Migrant Ministry Klang which provides a regular mobile clinic to various refugee communities under its program called H4R (Healthcare for Refugees). Migrant Ministry Klang also runs a refugee school through its registered non-profit entity, EI Shaddai Centre, endorsed by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
  • University of Malaya : Gold Sponsorship and Best Achievement Award for Pharmacy Practice.
  • UCSI University : Sponsorship of Best Achievement Award for Pharmacy Practice.
  • Cash donation to Persatuan Hospis Melaka, flood victims in Penang and Kedah and Persatuan Orang Cacat Anggota Malaysia.

2016

  • Contributed medicines to Migrant Ministry Klang which provides a regular mobile clinic to various refugee communities under its program called H4R (Healthcare for Refugees). Migrant Ministry Klang also runs a refugee school through its registered non-profit entity, EI Shaddai Centre, endorsed by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
  • Sponsorship of University of Malaya 2016 Pharmacy Night in the form of gold sponsorship and Best Achievement Award for Pharmacy Practice Best Student Award.
  • Cash donation to Persatuan Orang Cacat Anggota Malaysia, National Council for the Blind Malaysia, Persatuan Damai Orang Kurang Upaya Malaysia dan Yayasan Jantung Malaysia.
  • Support of needy elderly with osteoarthritis and joint problem through Flexiseq Mobility Program in Singapore.

2015

  • Contribution of medicines to Migrant Ministry Klang, an outreach organization which operates programmes for refugees in partner with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
  • Philantropic support to Melaka Cancer Society.
  • Gotong royong projects in schools in Rawang and Bangi.
  • Flexiseq Gift of Mobility Program in Singapore to support the needy elderly with osteoarthritis and joint problems.
  • Sponsorship of best student award for University Malaya and book prizes for International Medical University.

2014

  • Gotong royong projects in schools in Klang Valley (Klang, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Dengkil and Bandar Utama) to stamp out the dengue menace
  • Food distribution project for the elderly at Redhill, Singapore
  • Donation to Zy Movement Foundation, Thailand which supports and rehabilitates children with congenital limb deficiency and cerebral palsy
  • Blood donation campaign organised by Xepa Sports Club in Melaka
